Caddo supports the states most diverse native fish. It is an angler's paradise and trophy catches are common. The lake has abundant largemouth bass, sand bass, yellow bass, catfish, bream, bluegill, redear sunfish, chain pickerel. Over 71 species of fish live in Caddo's waters, including the endangered American eel and the paddlefish.

Stalk the shallows of the cypress brakes or take aim from within a guide-furnished blind in open water. Duck hunting on Caddo is a unique outdoor sport.
